What a night, Hanover! Thank you to everyone who lined the streets for the 2026 Hanover Area Jaycees Halloween Parade on Thursday 🎃

This year we traded the Addams Family for a trip over the rainbow, complete with Dorothy and her crew, Glinda, the Munchkins, Ozians, a flying monkey, and the wicked witch 🌪️

We don’t do Halloween halfway. Ben Myers gets in full character, his wife made the kids’ costumes every year when they were little, and those kids grew up in theatre, dance, and music. Put it all together and you get a production like this.

None of it happens without Dave Bass, Ron Wallace and Joey Wright, who helped build this year’s float. Thank you both for bringing Oz to life 🌈

There’s no place like J.A. Myers Homes 🏠

Thank you Evening Sun for some of these awesome photos.

Look for us in the Hanover Halloween Parade tonight! 🎃

We’re the reigning champs after last year’s Adam's Family float, and we’re back to defend the title. Our lips are sealed on this year’s theme, but you might want to check the forecast. We hear there’s a storm rolling through 🌪️

Can’t make it in person? Watch the livestream here:
