Downtown Lebanon has a market again: Pellegrino's Farmer's Market and Italian Deli at 2 Mascoma Street is the first downtown grocery option since 2018. A busy anchor like this brings steady foot traffic to Colburn Park and makes living and working downtown that much easier. This area is growing, and we love to see it!
Good morning, Lebanon! If you've walked past the old Lebanon Village Marketplace spot on Mascoma Street lately, you've probably noticed it's busy again. Pellegrino's Farmer's Market and Italian Deli opened there last November, right by Colburn Park, and it has turned into a regular lunch stop for a lot of folks downtown.
Joey Pellegrino runs it with his family, and some of you may remember their old place in Enfield. The shelves are full of imported Italian goods like olives, pasta and tapenades, along with imported meats and cheeses, fresh produce, dairy and eggs. The deli makes hot and cold sandwiches, soups, calzones and pizza to order.
It's the first market downtown since the Village Marketplace closed in 2018. For people living in town, having somewhere to grab dinner fixings without getting in the car is a real perk. Stop by 2 Mascoma Street, grab a sandwich, and tell them we said hi!
