It’s not haunted houses. It’s hearing:

😳 “We didn’t pull permits.”
💧 “The basement only gets a LITTLE water.”
🔨 “That was already there when we bought it.”

Meanwhile, the house is being held together with caulk, prayer, and a two-by-four. 😂🙏

The market has changed since the COVID days. Buyers in Pickens and Greenville County are paying closer attention to repairs, and higher interest rates can make them even more cautious.

But don’t panic! I’m on your side. 🤝

I love HGTV as much as the next girl, but some of y’all need to put Pinterest DOWN. 😂🏡

A house with good bones, a solid roof, a fenced backyard, and working HVAC? That’s a WIN. 🙌

Ugly countertops? Fixable. Outdated cabinets? Paintable. That hideous light fixture? BYE. 👋

But location, layout, and your budget? Those deserve your attention.

Don’t let a dream kitchen convince you to walk away from a perfectly good HOME. The cute stuff can come later. 🔑

Okay, sellers, I say this with love… professional photos are not the time to say, “I think it’ll be fine.” 😂📸

The laundry basket will show up. The 17 bottles in your shower will show up. The cords will show up.

And yes… buyers are going to notice the litter box. 🐱😅

I say that as a dog and cat mom myself!

We’re not selling your stuff. We’re selling the house. 🏡✨

So before the photographer arrives, hide the clutter, clear the counters, tuck away the everyday stuff, and let your home be the star.

Because suddenly, all that house hunting gets real.

We’re talking price, closing costs, inspections, deadlines, strategy—and yes, probably a little anxiety. 😅

But we’re also celebrating.

Because whether that particular offer gets accepted or not, you’ve just taken the first real step toward owning your next home in the Upstate. 🔑✨

And around here, I think that deserves a toast. 🥂

You see the listing when it hits the internet.

What you don’t see is everything that happens before that. 🏡📸

Whether the home is in Pickens, Spartanburg, or Oconee County, there’s furniture to move, rooms to stage, pillows to fix, trash cans to hide, curtains to adjust, photos to plan, and curb appeal to check. 😅

And yes, occasionally I’m wondering why someone owns 17 decorative baskets. 😂🧺

Getting a home ready to sell is part strategy, part marketing, and honestly… part chaos.

Luckily, this OCD chaos coordinator genuinely loves every minute of it. ✨🤝
