American Resort Management

Last night, we celebrated a major milestone inside the first Mattel Wonder Indoor Waterpark: the building exterior and signature retractable roof are complete.

Getting here has taken years of vision, planning and thousands of hours of work from a remarkable group of partners. Standing inside the building with them, hard hats on, made it clear how far this project has come.

Thank you to Mayor Rusty Hike and the for your leadership and belief in this project from day one. Thank you to Natalia Premovic and the Mattel , Inc. team for trusting us to help bring Barbie, Hot Wheels, Fisher-Price and UNO to life in a whole new way. And thank you to Martin Aquatic and every design and construction partner turning these renderings into a place where families will play.

The new interior renderings are out today, and they are only a preview of what's coming. We can't wait to welcome families to Bellevue, Nebraska, at the end of 2027.

A Big Day in Bellevue!

American Resort Management joined Mattel, the City of Bellevue, and our project partners today to unveil the first interior renderings of Mattel Wonder Indoor Waterpark, the first of its kind in the country.

Opening in late 2027, the 100,000-square-foot, year-round destination will bring Barbie, Hot Wheels, Fisher-Price, UNO, and more to life. And with 35 additional acres being explored for dining, retail, lodging, and entertainment, this is only the beginning.

Mattel Wonder Indoor Waterpark coming to North Carolina!

Mattel Wonder Indoor Waterparks confirms fourth location

05/21/2026

The newly-announced in North Carolina is set to be a true economic driver for the Mid-Atlantic region — and we’re proud to be part of bringing it to life.

American Resort Management is serving as Operations Management partner on this transformative project alongside an incredible team: Project Luong (lead developer and prime architect), Martin Aquatic (aquatic design), and Carida Capital Group (sponsor) — all united behind the creative storytelling power of Mattel, Inc.

From the Indoor Waterpark to a signature fountain show, this destination is being built to deliver the kind of immersive, family-first experiences that ARM has spent years perfecting across our portfolio. We know what it takes to turn a great concept into a great guest experience — and we can’t wait to do exactly that at Weldon Mills.

This is just the first announcement. There’s a lot more to come.
