If you want to be in a new home before Christmas.. Here’s the timeline that actually gets you there.

Right now through the end of October: get pre approved and start touring seriously.

Late October: have an offer in, ideally accepted.

November: inspections, appraisal, financing, the paperwork stretch.

🎄Early to mid December: closing and moving in, if everything stays on track.

It’s tight, but it’s absolutely doable if you start now instead of after Thanksgiving.
