I’ve only been at Regency for about 8 months now, but you can tell when someone is truly genuine. That was Jere….He took the time to try and get to know me, checked on me after my mom passed, and was always encouraging. I can’t stress it enough now that it’s truly the little things that matter most. My prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time 🙏🏾
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of one of our owners, Jere Bowden.
For the past 20 years, Jere has loved Regency with his whole heart. If you knew Jere, you knew you could always find him in his office, with plans strewn across his desk, a cup of hot chocolate nearby, and his mind already working on the next greatest thing. He was always dreaming, creating, and thinking about how to make things better.
We have loved celebrating Jere throughout the years because he truly loved his birthday and Christmas. And if you ever wondered what to get Jere, the answer was simple: Coke, peanuts, and hot chocolate. It was the little things that made him smile, and those are the memories we will hold close to our hearts.
Jere genuinely loved the people around him. He had one of the biggest hearts, and he was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He cared deeply, gave generously, and left an imprint on so many of us that can never be replaced.
We will miss his presence in the office, his big ideas, his celebrations, and most of all, the heart he brought to Regency every single day. Twenty years of memories, laughter, hard work, and love have made him a part of who we are. Regency will never be quite the same without him.
These memories only skim the surface of how much Jere means to us and the impact he has had on so many lives. We know that everyone who knew Jere has a story, a moment, or a memory that captures a little piece of who he was. If you have a memory of Jere you would like to share, we would love to read it and share it with his family. We know those stories will bring comfort and serve as a beautiful reminder of just how deeply he was loved.
Jere, thank you for 20 years of love, leadership, laughter, and for making Regency so much more than a business. We love you, we will miss you more than words can say, and we promise to continue building on the legacy you helped create.
You will forever be a part of the Regency family.
Arrangements will be shared as soon as we have more information.
