🏡 Downtown Garner Storytelling Series: Meet Cassondra Liles!
For local realtor Cassondra Liles, real estate is about much more than buying and selling houses. It’s about helping people turn the page and begin their next chapter.
With nearly 26 years in residential real estate, Cassondra has helped individuals and families navigate some of life’s biggest transitions. Whether someone is finding a home closer to their grandchildren, moving into a new season of life, or putting down roots in a new community, she believes there’s something special about being part of that journey. And sometimes, those journeys bring entire families to Garner!
❤️ Why Garner? For Cassondra, it’s the perfect balance. Our town is growing, new businesses are finding their place, and opportunities continue to expand, but Garner still holds onto that small-town feel that makes it special. Having spent the past 10 years on Main Street, she’s loved watching Downtown Garner evolve, welcoming new businesses and embracing the energy of a community on the move.
But her impact extends well beyond real estate. From serving in Rotary and the Garner Top Producers Council to starting several local businesses, Cassondra believes in giving back to the community she calls home. This year, she’s co-chairing Angie’s Operation Thanksgiving, helping support an effort to serve 5,000 free Thanksgiving meals to anyone who comes by. Talk about a big heart for community! 🦃
When she’s not helping clients find their next home, you might find Cassondra heading to her happy place in the mountains, hunting for treasures at thrift stores, spending time with her family, or keeping up with her new puppy. One of her favorite thrifted treasures? A beautiful Christmas tree artwork made from antique brooches, beads, and pearls. She loves imagining the stories behind the pieces that find their way into her home. ✨
When asked what she hopes people remember about her, Cassondra kept it simple: that she did her best for people, had their best interests at heart, and made a positive impact on her community.
And that’s what makes a community special: the people who invest their time, their talents, and their hearts into it.
Thank you, Cassondra, for being part of the Downtown Garner story and for helping families find their place in our community! 💙
