🏡 Did You Know? Your home's assessed value and market value aren't necessarily the same thing!

📋 Assessed Value: A value established by the state for property tax purposes.

💰 Market Value: What buyers may be willing to pay for your home in today's market.

In Maryland, property assessments are updated on a three-year cycle, so your property's assessed value may not reflect current market conditions.

Curious about how Maryland assessments work? The State Department of Assessments and Taxation is a great place to start.
