That's exactly how it felt with Katherine and Greg. Their home held so much: eight years of memories, both of their boys welcomed within its walls. Some homes take a little patience and this one reminded me why the wait is always worth it.

Sharon and Bill came to me through an agent friend who'd moved to Florida, the kind of trust that gets passed from one person to the next, and I never take it for granted. Back in 2003, they built their custom home in the Buford school district. It was truly theirs, filled with years of living and loving.

When they were ready for their next chapter, a Margaritaville community in South Carolina, selling took longer than expected. So we paused, brought in a painter for a fresh neutral refresh, and everything shifted. The right buyer showed up almost immediately.

Renovate. Sell. Buy. And this time, on the lake.

This is Ginny. The same Ginny who spent eight years transforming her Habersham Club home into something beautiful. Once that chapter closed, she was ready for what's next.

Ginny came to me through a referral from one of my own neighbors, right as she was beginning her search for a home on Lake Lanier. We found the cutest lake home in a great neighborhood in Cu***ng that was fully renovated and completely move-in ready.

From the home she transformed to the one already transformed for her, Ginny moved straight from Habersham Club to her Lake Lanier gem. Both closings happened on the very same day.

A fixer-upper is never just about the walls, it's about who's willing to see past them.

Eight years ago, Ginny bought 3511 Habersham Club Dr and updated it top to bottom. When she was ready to sell, multiple offers came fast. Some homes hold more than memories, they hold generations.

3585 Ridgewood Pt was built in 1986 and has been home to Ed and Carol ever since.

Two sons were raised here. A room was added years later just for their granddaughters, who love this house every bit as much as their dad did.

I actually met Ed and Carol as buyers first, helping them find their next home back in January. But before that new chapter could begin, this one had to close and it closed beautifully. Cared for down to every detail, it found a new family within weeks.

Ed and Carol have since settled into a one-level home, ready for a simpler season.
