Today is a BIG day, and my heart is so happy celebrating my friends TinaMerie Salazar-Holder and Bryan Holder as they officially closed on their beautiful, custom-built dream home! 🏡🥂🩷

From the very beginning, watching this vision come to life has been such a special journey. From an empty piece of land, blueprints, design options, and construction updates to seeing their dream become reality, every step has brought us to this incredible moment. 🏡✨

To my friends, THANK YOU for trusting me to be alongside you through this journey. Being able to serve as both your friend and realtor has been such a blessing, and I’m beyond grateful to have been part of such a meaningful milestone in your lives.

When completed in 2027, The Loop will create a 50-mile paved trail system connecting 39 miles of existing trails with 11 new miles. The first phase opened three years ago, connecting the Santa Fe Trail at White Rock Lake to Far East Dallas. In April, the second phase of the Trinity Forest Spine Trail opened, adding to the existing AT&T and Trinity Forest Trails leading to White Rock Lake. On October 20 at 6 p.m., the Loop officials will celebrate the opening of The Loop Plaza, where three trails—the Katy Trail, the Hi Line Connector, and the Trinity Strand Trail—link up to connect Victory Park, the Design District, and West Dallas together as a public gathering space. ⁠

Organizers say the celebration will take place at the top level of the plaza at Victory Avenue and Houston Street, at the southern end of the Katy Trail. The event will feature light bites, beverages, and a performance by the Cara Mía Theatre.

Today’s consultation prep brought me to one of my favorite Dallas spots, unimarket_dfw. 🤎

An iced horchata and an empanada are my go-to, but UniMarket has so much more to explore — from their Latin American cuisine and popular specialty drinks in their restaurant and grocery staples from across Latin America.

I love places like this because they’re part of what makes a neighborhood feel like home. Buying a house is about so much more than the house — it’s the community, the local businesses, the coffee shops, the restaurants, and the little places that eventually become part of your everyday life.

That’s one of my favorite parts of helping people find their place in Dallas and throughout the DFW Metroplex: getting to share the neighborhoods I know, the spots I love, and all the little things that make each area feel different.

La Lupita Taco & Mezcal, one of the best-known restaurants in Los Cabos, opened its doors on June 2 in the Design District, marking the start of its expansion into the United States.

Spotlight Saturday ✨

Spending my morning at in Dallas—a cozy Latin restaurant, Latin café, and mercado offering a variety of Latin products all in one place! ✨ I’m sipping on a refreshing horchata and enjoying chilaquiles, a guayaba & cheese pastry, and everything is absolutely delicious! 😋

Founded by brothers Richard and Esneyder Ospina, natives of Colombia, this concept first launched in Canada in 2008 with three locations in Calgary—making Dallas their very first U.S. spot!

Warm atmosphere, friendly people, amazing food, drinks, and Latin products… definitely a must-visit!
