Aledo ISD just got some new land! No new school just yet, because any new school built has to have votes first, and there are a few other spots that also need a new school, particularly the Kelly Ranch Rd area out on 377, but we do have options as Aledo continues to grow. The Walsh family donated this land to the district!
And for those out there who are hating the growth, there are some great options out in Brock and in Springtown that I’d love to show you! They still have a few years before the they see the expansion that Aledo is experiencing right now. Friends who’ve made the move say that Brock’s schools still feel small and have the vibe Aledo used to have years ago. As someone who is essentially part of the “problem” since I’ve only been living in Aledo 2 years, I have absolutely loved Aledo, and have had no issues with the growth!
