You never know what you'll spy in the aquarium at Point Cabrillo Light Station State Historic Park. This bat star is attached to the wall of the aquarium, but it also decided to wrap itself around a piece of bull kelp!

Come see the creatures who live in our tidepools up close and personal at Point Cabrillo! The aquarium is open every day from 10am-5pm during the summer and 11am-4pm during the winter months, although we do have to occasionally close it during wet weather.

Tucked away between the towns of Mendocino and Fort Bragg on the Northern California coast is the historic Point Cabrillo Lighthouse.

The first floor of the lighthouse (museum + gift shop) is open to the public every day from 10am-5pm during the summer, and 11am-4pm during the winter. Entrance is free, and the buildings are staffed by a team of volunteer docents.
