Sometimes the house you think you want isn’t quite the house you’re meant to have.
When these wonderful clients first reached out to me (after seeing my videos online and getting a family referral ❤️), they had their sights set on a house with a pool. Their reasoning? A pool would be a pretty good way to make sure the grandkids kept coming to visit! 😊
But after touring that home twice, they realized they would be taking on more projects and compromises than they really wanted. All for the pool. It just didn’t make sense.
So, back to the drawing board.
They knew they wanted something special. No cookie-cutter houses. Something with character, and a water view would be a huge bonus.
A few weeks later, I sent them a new listing. Gorgeous, unique, beautifully maintained, and overlooking a stunning lake.
…No pool. But I sent it anyway…
We toured it right away, and I could tell this one was different. They were already imagining family gatherings, making memories, and figuring out exactly where that future pool could go!
There was already another offer, so we moved quickly. And they got the house! 🎉
They’re now moved in and making plans for that pool to go in next spring.
I love this story because it’s such a good reminder that sometimes the right house doesn’t have everything on your wish list. But it has the things you can’t easily create or change.
It was truly an honor helping these wonderful people find their new home. Here’s to years of family gatherings, lake views, and plenty of visits from those grandkids! ❤️
