🍂 Change is in the Air!

And it’s not just the leaves that are changing!

The real estate market here in Bristol County is showing some noticeable shifts compared to this time last year.

🏡 Inventory is up 22.3%, giving buyers more homes to consider.

🍁 Homes are spending more time on the market, with median days on market increasing to 46.

🏡 Median sold prices are up 2.2% compared to last year, showing that while the pace of the market is changing, sale prices are still holding strong.

So, what does this mean?

The market isn’t standing still, but it isn’t necessarily turning into a buyer’s market either. We’re seeing signs of a changing pace, where realistic pricing, thoughtful preparation, and understanding local market conditions matter more than ever.

And as always, real estate is local. What’s happening in one SouthCoast community may look quite different in another.

From one log cabin to another… and quite the journey in between! 🏡❤️

Selling one home while purchasing another can be complicated enough, but when life throws unexpected curveballs into the mix, it takes an incredible amount of patience, perseverance, and determination.

This journey from Assonet to Berkley certainly had its twists and turns, including a major life-changing event along the way. Through it all, these two handled every challenge with remarkable strength and determination.

Some transactions are about so much more than real estate. This was certainly one of them.

I’m truly grateful they trusted me to be part of this journey, from selling their home in Assonet to beginning a new chapter in Berkley.

Two log cabins. Two successful closings. One remarkable journey. ❤️

Actually, a closet isn’t what determines whether a room qualifies as a bedroom. Size, safety, privacy and other applicable requirements matter.

9/11 survivor Mary Alexandra Stiefvater reflected that, on one of our country’s darkest days, she also witnessed the very best of humanity — people rushing toward danger to help others, neighbors lifting and carrying one another, and “selflessness and kindness and grace in every corner.”

“I saw unity.”

May we always remember the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the extraordinary compassion Americans showed one another that day.

This wonderful couple purchased their charming Acushnet home 26 years ago, enjoying life on 11 acres and making many memories along the way. 🏡❤️

In June, Sue & John called to tell me they were purchasing a condo and it was time to scale down. They needed to get their property on the market quickly — so we got right to work!

We met, reviewed the process, signed the paperwork, and I scheduled the photography and open house. Within two weeks, we secured a buyer.
