Last Thursday evening, I had the opportunity to celebrate the achievements of my Fidelity teammates & all they accomplished in 2025.

But as I looked around the room, I was reminded that our success is about so much more than what we achieve.

It’s about who we are.
Who we’ve grown into.
Who we’re becoming.
How we help. ..and most importantly, who we help.

Awards recognize accomplishments, but they don’t always capture the heart, character, relationships, sacrifices & growth behind them.

I’m incredibly appreciative of each of these amazing people. They make our team better, our clients better served & our journey a whole lot more meaningful.

The room truly gets brighter when each one of them walks into it. ✨

Discipline beats motivation. Every. Single. Time.

This week, I had the privilege of joining the Open The Gate Podcast to discuss why discipline is one of the most important attributes for success in business and life.

We explored:
✅ Consistency over perfection
✅ Building confidence through action
✅ Leading yourself before leading others
✅ Staying focused when distractions are everywhere
✅ Why hype fades, but discipline compounds

The older I get, the more convinced I become that extraordinary results are rarely created by extraordinary moments. They're created by ordinary actions repeated consistently over time.

Part 2 of 3: One of the messages from Success Summit was from the man that hosted & put it all together; Tom Ferry.

"Stop being addicted to the opinions of others....Be fearless in your field of play."

The more I've reflected on it, the more I've realized these ideas go hand in hand.

You can't truly be fearless if you're constantly seeking approval. When we worry about what others might think, we play smaller, hesitate longer, and sometimes miss opportunities that could change everything.

The people who make the greatest impact aren't the ones who avoid criticism. They're the ones who stay focused on their purpose despite it.

My takeaway:
✅ Focus on your mission, not the noise.
✅ Let your standards matter more than others' opinions.
✅ Take the call. Ask for the meeting. Lead the conversation.
✅ Stop waiting for permission to be who you're capable of becoming.

The opinions of others are information, not instruction.

Top 3 Nuggets from Success Summit Anaheim | Part 1 of 3

Over the next few days, I'll be sharing my Top 3 Nuggets from Success Summit in Anaheim that challenged my thinking and reinforced the importance of intentional growth.

#1: Energy is a Choice

This message hit me hard because it's something we all have control over, regardless of our circumstances.

We can't control every challenge, setback, or unexpected event that comes our way. But we can control the energy we bring into each day.

✅ Choose it in the morning.
✅ Protect it throughout the day.
✅ Use it to fuel your focus.
✅ Invest it in what matters most.
✅ Elevate others with it.

The quality of our energy impacts our family, our business, our teams, and the people we serve. As leaders, our energy is contagious. So is our attitude.

One of my favorite reminders from the event was:
"You can't control everything, but you can choose your energy."

Choose wisely. Live intentionally. Make an impact.
