Apparently, my fall wardrobe comes with extra stuffing. 😂🌾

Same Corin. Same commitment to helping you buy and sell with confidence. Slightly more straw in my shoes.

But the dad jokes? Those come with the service year-round. 😉

Think you can out-pun this scarecrow? Drop your best fall dad joke in the comments. I’m all ears. 🌽😂

“We honestly never thought we’d be able to buy a house.”

That’s what this first-time buyer told me when we started talking. There were things to work through, and their family spent a long time saving and watching every dollar. They kept going anyway.

A trusted lending partner connected us and found a program that meant they put just over $1,000 of their own money toward the purchase. I was also able to negotiate the price so they had equity in their new home from the day they closed.

But my favorite part of this story is right here: their family standing in front of a home they once thought was out of reach. Keys handed over. Their first family home. 🏡🔑

Help me congratulate them in the comments! What’s the first memory you’d want to make in a new home?

⭐ ABOVE & BEYOND IS THE STANDARD

Buying a home is about more than finding the right property. It’s about having someone in your corner who is responsive, available, and willing to put in the extra work when it matters.

For Adam and his family, that meant making the drive from Eugene to Corvallis for showings, staying flexible throughout the search, and leaning on trusted local relationships when it was time to get everything across the finish line quickly.

That’s the part of real estate I enjoy most: helping make the process feel clear, supported, and a whole lot less stressful.

Adam, thank you for the kind words and for trusting me to be part of the process. I truly appreciate it!

If you only read one thing today, I hope it's this...

The words that stand out to me aren't "knowledge" or "real estate professional."

They're "looks out for his clients' best interests."

That's the standard I try to bring to every conversation, whether someone is ready to buy tomorrow, sell next year, or simply wants honest advice with no pressure attached.

Steven, thank you for such a thoughtful review. It means a lot knowing that's the experience you walked away with.

They Focused on Family. I Focused on the Details.

Some moves are about more than getting from one house to another.

These clients have been friends for years, and they reached out well before they were ready to move. They knew a relocation to Arizona was coming, but they also knew this was their child's senior year of high school. They didn't want the stress of selling a home to take away from all of the milestones, celebrations, and memories that make this season so special.

So we made a plan.

Months in advance, we mapped out the timeline so they could stay present with their family while I handled the details behind the scenes. When it was time to list, everything was in place.

The best part? As I called to tell them their house was officially sold, they were literally pulling into the driveway of their new home in Arizona.

That's what a good plan can do. It creates room for people to focus on what matters most.

Congratulations, my friends. Thank you for trusting me through another important chapter of your lives. Wishing you nothing but happiness as you begin this next adventure.

You never know where your next client will come from.

Four years ago, someone scanned the QR code on the back of my laptop while I was working from a coffee shop.

A year ago, we started looking for their first home.

Today, we’re under contract.

They’re a veteran, a first-time home buyer, and this has been a journey built on patience and trust. Those are the kinds of wins that mean the most to me.

Congratulations! I appreciate you trusting me to help guide you through one of life’s biggest decisions.

The best part of what I do isn't getting homes under contract. It's earning the call when it matters most.

Thank you to my clients for trusting me to guide you through another big milestone. Seeing that "Pending" sign never gets old because I know what it represents: hard work, teamwork, and a family one step closer to what's next.

One more big step in the process, and we're looking forward to a smooth closing. Congratulations!

The Second Call Means More Than The First.

This client was originally referred to me by an agent in California. We worked together on a previous transaction, and this time they reached out to me directly.

That means a lot.

This purchase wasn’t just about buying another property. It was part of a bigger conversation about long-term financial goals.

As a self-employed business owner, they don’t have a traditional retirement plan waiting for them. Instead, we’ve been discussing how real estate can become part of a strategy to create future income through carefully selected investment properties over time.

No shortcuts. No magic formula.

Just a thoughtful plan, one property at a time.

I’m grateful for the trust they’ve placed in me, not only to help with a transaction, but to be part of conversations about their future and the goals they’re working toward.

Congratulations on another successful purchase. We always seem to have a lot of fun along the way, but we never lose sight of getting the job done.

THE HIGHEST OFFER DIDN'T WIN!

My buyer client did.

I recently helped a buyer purchase a home that received multiple offers.

Before the offer deadline, I spent time talking with the listing agent to understand what was most important to the seller. At that point, they already had 3 offers in hand and were expecting 4 more before making a decision.

After multiple conversations with both my client and the listing agent, we built the right plan around the situation.

My buyer submitted an offer they felt comfortable with.

The seller accepted it.

The surprising part?

Another offer was more than $50,000 higher.

That's a good reminder that real estate isn't always about offering the most money.

Sometimes it's about understanding the situation, asking the right questions, and solving the seller's problem.

Price matters.

It's just not always everything.

Have you ever been surprised by a decision that wasn't based solely on price?
