Do you live in the City of Erie? If so, this post is a reminder to pay your Stormwater Fee. If you don’t, the penalty fees add up FAST! For more info, see below:
The City of Erie charges an annual stormwater management fee based on the size of your property’s impervious roof coverage. If you haven’t paid yet, now is a great time to check your account!
Residential Stormwater Fee Rates:
•Small Tier (500–1,200 sq. ft.): $12 per year
•Medium Tier (1,201–1,550 sq. ft.): $24 per year
•Large Tier (More than 1,550 sq. ft.): $36 per year
Payment Deadlines:
•2% discount if paid by March 31
•Face value through May 31
•10% penalty for payments made on or after June 1.
How to Pay:
•You can pay your stormwater fee online through the City of Erie’s official website, by mail, or in person at Erie City Hall.
Haven’t paid yet?
•Be sure to check your balance and take care of your fee to avoid any further penalties.
