From January through July of 2025, 5,351 new apartments were completed across the Twin Cities. Over the same stretch this year? Just 1,852. 🧡

Fewer new units coming online means fewer vacancies competing for renters, and rents are projected to climb 4.7% by mid-2027. For owners, that's a strong setup to hold on to a rental, or add one. ✨

A few small nail holes, light scuffs, and some faded paint come with living in a home. Bigger holes, broken fixtures, burns, and pet stains usually don't. Knowing which is which before you start packing helps you avoid surprises when your deposit is returned. ✨

There are 12,512 homes for sale across the Twin Cities right now, 12.2% more than this time last year. Homes are also selling for about 97.7% of list price on average, down from 98.4%. 🧡
