Austin Housing Weekly Update : Austin is now two housing markets. Top-tier home prices are up 4.2% YoY. Entry-level prices are down 1.1%. New construction is 27% of listings but 42% of pending sales, and 56% of active listings have cut their price. Full report :

Austin Housing Weekly Update : Mortgage rates just spiked to 6.95%, the sharpest weekly jump in months, with real quoted rates closer to 7.125-7.25%. Result: active listings are up 1.6% YoY, but pending contracts are down 4.8%, pushing our activity index to 18.5% from 19.5% a year ago. Full breakdown below. Full report :
