The Story of Sanner Pecans
This business started with a dream shared by Jim and his wife, Bobbie Sanner.
Jim was raised to work hard, and retirement didn’t change that. After selling Sanner Oil Company in 2015, he planted 20 pecan trees. Then 20 became 500. The orchard’s growth surprised all of us except Jim. He could see what it might become, and Bobbie helped him make their dream a reality.
Bobbie was a wife, a mom, a sister, and “Meme” to so many. She passed away in February 2026, but her love for family and the way she brought people together remain at the heart of Sanner Pecans. She was famous for her strawberry cake with a pecan crust—a dessert her family always looked forward to. We hope to carry on the Sanner Pecans legacy of quality, deliciousness, and, most importantly, tradition.
Tradition is at the heart of every family: gathering around the table, enjoying farm-to-table goodness, and connecting with one another over quality pecans. From one family’s best to the heart of yours, we’re honored to be part of your special moments.
Jim and Bobbie wanted to leave a legacy that would grow year after year. Today, Sanner Pecans travel far beyond our orchard. We’ve heard of our pecans becoming pies in kitchens from South Carolina to Missouri, and we still wonder where they’ll end up next.
Every tree is rooted in Jim’s hard work, Bobbie’s love, and the traditions they built together. From our table to yours, we hope our pecans become part of the traditions you pass on to the next generation.
Thank you for helping their dream grow. Help us reach 500 followers by sharing our page with someone who loves pecans! 🤎
