225 Land Management 225 Land Management is a real estate and property development & management company. Sometimes it's two steps forward and one step back, but we will stay at it.

We have developed many properties, several of which are our rental properties, but we can also help you manage your property from bush hog work to drainage and dirt work. Our story began in 2005 with a desire to offer reasonably priced rental homes to Livingston Parish families. As with most homes in the Livingston Parish area, the Great Flood of 2016 destroyed nearly everything we had developed. Our comeback has been slow, but we keep working at rebuilding what we once had.

I need a recommendation for a 1099 carpenter, specifically in the Denham Springs / Livingston area.
I don’t want you driving in from an hour away. That’s 2 hours a day that require me paying you (one way or another).
Thank you, but local help only.

Absolute Must Haves:

- Own a work truck (If I’m going to pickup material for you, I may as well do the work myself).
- Own tools (Yes, I have tools, but they’re not to be loaned, because they tend to walk off). Specialty tools, maybe.
- Know how to use a measuring tape (+/- 1/2” is not acceptable)
- Familiar with repairing of Mobile Homes (they’re completely different than a stick built house).
- Show up everyday that you’re supposed to (I understand you may have 3 jobs going at once, just show up when you say you’re going to be there).

Type of Work:

- Remove & Replace vinyl plank (click lock flooring)
- Replace minor soft sub-flooring spots
- Minor sheetrock work
- Minor interior painting
- Hanging interior doors
- Install 1/4 round floor trim
- Minor plumbing work a plus
- Ceramic tile work a plus (countertop)

Unfortunately due to Louisiana Act 751, we will no longer be able to accept debit cards for transactions after August 1, 2026.
We use Square for processing all card payments, and they charge us a fee. This new law prohibits us from recouping that fee.

We’ve been busy installing all new water lines, remodeling the bathroom, and installing some new flooring!
