Wise County’s September housing numbers are in 🏡
The median sales price was $323,410, down 5.2% from last September. Homes spent an average of 87 days on the market, with about 122 days from listing to closing.

104 homes closed in September. The “0.0%” on the graphic means closed sales were unchanged from last year, not that zero homes sold.
What does this mean?

🔑 Buyers: You may have more negotiating power, even though inventory has tightened compared with last year.
🏠 Sellers: Homes are still selling, but accurate pricing and strong presentation matter more than ever.

THREE UNDER CONTRACT IN RUNAWAY BAY. THIS WEEK. 🎉🏡

We are still sitting with this one for a minute!

Three different sellers.
Three different reasons for moving on.
And somehow, in the same week, we got to help all three get their home under contract in Runaway Bay.

That's not luck. That's what happens when someone trusts you with the sale of their home and you actually do the work, priced right and marketed right, three times over in seven days.

If you've spent any time out here, it's not hard to see why buyers move fast when the right house comes up. Life in Runaway Bay runs on Lake Bridgeport time, not Metroplex time. Slower mornings, longer evenings, water right there when you want it. 🌊

We don't take it lightly when a seller hands us a decision this size. Getting to do it right, three times in one week, is the kind of thing we're genuinely grateful for. 🙏
