Moving, just like any other business, doesn’t always go perfectly. Sometimes things happen that are completely out of our control. What matters is how you handle those situations.

Here’s what happened with one of our recent moves.

We were moving a customer from Daphne, Alabama, to Kansas. With only about an hour left until delivery, our truck’s transmission went out. We immediately contacted our customer, explained the situation, and kept them updated.

We had promised a delivery window of 10–11 AM, and we were determined to keep that promise. Instead of sitting around waiting and making excuses, we arranged to have the customer’s belongings towed to the destination and made the delivery within the promised time window.

Huge shoutout to Anthony Douglas-Owner of “Icantowit” based out of Topeka Kansas for getting the trailer delivered safely and on time.

Things don’t always go as planned, but our customers shouldn’t have to pay the price for that.

At Pure Muscle Moving Company, we believe communication, accountability, and doing what you say you’re going to do matter just as much as moving furniture.
