Project wraps up, everybody’s onto the next one, and somebody grabs a few phone photos in the parking lot on the way out. 📱

Three months later you’re putting together a proposal, and they ask for photos of your previous work and all you got is a few iPhone pictures of a million-dollar project.

We drove three hours to Bryan for this CLUB4 Fitness buildout, and the reason is simple. The work this crew did deserved professional media that accurately captures the work they put into this project. Blacked-out turf floor, Cryotherapy rooms, pickleball court, locker rooms, saunas and so much more.

That’s what ends up in your next proposal, on your website, in front of the owner deciding between you and two other GCs. They’re not walking your past jobs. They’re looking at what you can show them.

11:00 — got there early to beat the neighbor’s truck in the driveway
11:20 — moved the same barstool four times
11:45 — sent up the drone, six passes to get one clean approach
12:10 — realized the best shot in the house was the entry to the living area
12:40 — reshot the entire living area
1:00 — final shots and packing up equipment

You’re seeing 45 seconds. That was two hours. BEFORE EDITING!

Not complaining, that’s the job. But when someone asks why professional video costs what it does, this is the answer. Anybody can walk a house with a phone. Getting it to feel like standing there takes time nobody sees.

We see it constantly! The thing is professional photos aren't a one-time deliverable. They're what's marketing that building for the next decade. Leasing packages, investor decks, your website portfolio and every listing platform. Every potential client starts with someone looking at a picture before they ever set foot on the property.

That image is doing the first showing whether it's a good one or not. 🏢

And it's the last chance to catch the building the way you intended it. Clean, fresh landscaping, nobody moved in yet, no signage clutter. Give it a couple weeks and that moment's gone.
