My Top 7 FREE Websites for GCSE Triple Science 🧪
As a 13-year-old, I’ve started preparing for GCSE Triple Science, and one thing I’ve realised is that you don’t need expensive resources to start revising.
I’ve found 7 websites that can help with Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and I thought I’d share them.
1. BBC Bitesize
www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize
This is one of my favourites because it explains difficult science topics in simple English. It also has quizzes to test what I’ve learnt.
2. Cognito
www.cognitoedu.org
I use the free videos when I don’t understand something. They explain topics step by step, which makes science less confusing.
3. Physics & Maths Tutor
www.physicsandmathstutor.com
This is really useful for topic questions, past papers and mark schemes. I can practise answering exam questions instead of just reading notes.
4. FreeScienceLessons
www.freesciencelessons.co.uk
I like how short and clear the videos are. They’re especially helpful when I need a quick explanation of a Biology, Chemistry or Physics topic.
5. Oak National Academy
www.thenational.academy
This website has free lessons and activities. I can use it to go over topics I’ve already learnt or prepare for something new.
6. Isaac Science
www.isaacscience.org
This is good for practising science questions, especially Physics. It helps me think carefully instead of just memorising answers.
7. AQA
www.aqa.org.uk
This is useful if you’re studying AQA Triple Science. You can find past papers, mark schemes and the specification, which tells you what you need to learn.
One thing I’m learning about science revision
Watching videos isn’t enough.
I need to practise questions, check my mistakes and go back to topics I don’t understand.
I also don’t need to use all 7 websites every day. I just choose the one that helps me with what I’m studying.
I’m only 13, so I’m still figuring out which revision methods work best for me.
But I’d rather start building good study habits now than wait until my GCSE exams are close.
If you’re doing GCSE Triple Science, which website do you find most helpful?
