Yes
Everyone has chapters they would rather not read again.
The mistakes you regret. The people who left. The version of you who did not know better, who trusted the wrong ones and stayed too long. You carried those pages with you, and some days they felt like proof of who you will always be.
Yet somehow, you are still turning the page.
The past is a record, not a verdict. It can explain how you got here, but it cannot decide where you go next. Every day, you hold the pen. You can repeat the same story, written in the same fear, or you can write something new with everything you have learned.
Your history may have shaped you, but it does not own you. It does not get to say what you deserve, what you are capable of or how your story ends.
You don’t have to erase what happened. You don’t have to pretend it left no mark. You don’t have to be perfect to start fresh.
Remembering is not the same as repeating. Starting over is not forgetting. Choosing a different ending is simply how healing begins.
Take the lessons. Leave the labels.
Because the next page is blank, and it belongs to you.
