LAST CALL FOR HUNGER GAMES SPONSORS!

This is your final opportunity to sponsor the 2026 Citrus County Hunger Games! Posters are being printed early next week, and our Hunger Games food collection boxes will begin going out at the end of the month.

And WOW more than 55 organizations have already signed up to participate! This has far exceeded my expectations, and I’m incredibly thankful for a community that continues to step up for our families.

Food insecurity is one of the root causes that keeps families struggling. At the Family Resource Center, our pantry is just one piece of the puzzle.

The Hunger Games is about businesses, schools, churches, nonprofits, government agencies, and community organizations coming together for one mission: making sure local children and families have food on their tables.

If your business has been thinking about sponsoring, this is the last call! Sponsorship puts your business in front of the community while directly supporting our Family Choice Pantry.

We had so much fun putting together these five Christmas in July baskets! Each one is valued at over $150 and filled with items donated by amazing local businesses and makers.

Tomorrow, you’ll get to choose which basket you want a chance to win! There will also be free food, plenty of local food businesses, and other ways to participate.

A huge thank-you to Reel Handyman Services, Market at the Depot, Citrus Appeal, AmberSign LLC (Mobile & Remote Notary/AmberSign Wedding Officiant), SunLuma Business Solutions (Virtual Marketing & Web Assistant), Six Chicks Soapworks, Big Guy Soaps, Mobile Mayhem, Me & He, LLC, Sleepy Sloths, Salsa Queen, Herb Gurl, author Mary Lu Scholl, Luma Haus Microgreens, AllyBinky, Screen Monkey Corp, and The Pink Room for helping make these baskets possible. ❤️ Bring a new, unwrapped hygeine item and/or toy for bonus feel good points!!!!

In each basket, I do include the most recent copy of the Citrus Appeal mailer along with a gift certificate for a FREEEE Ad....which advertises great local companies in Citrus County that are always giving back to our community.

It's not too late to donate a basket, gift card, or item! See you at 5 pm at 915 N Suncoast Blvd, Crystal River, FL 34429. Get there early if you can so you can enjoy the raffle and all the food while it is fresh! There will be plenty! This will be the best one ever!
