🏡 One House. Three Years. One LONG Journey. ❤️

Three years ago, I had the privilege of helping this wonderful couple purchase their home. Little did we know at the time just how much of a journey this house would become!

Within the first year, they needed to refinance. Then, something completely unexpected happened with one of their jobs, and they had to move. We tried selling the home, but unfortunately, we couldn't get it sold for what was needed.

So, we rented it out for a year and eventually put it back on the market.

Unfortunately, because of the refinancing and the amount still owed on the home, we just couldn't get the price they needed. They didn't want to rent it out again, so they made the difficult decision to pursue a short sale.

Let me tell you… this was a LONG, drawn-out, and difficult process! 😅 There were plenty of twists, turns, paperwork, waiting, and patience required.

But we made it through! 🎉

Looking back, I wouldn't change the experience or, more importantly, the relationships that were built along the way. ❤️

I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge throughout this process, and let's just say… I'm definitely a LOT more experienced with short sales now! 😂

Real estate isn't always buying and selling a house. Sometimes it's navigating the unexpected, finding solutions, and standing beside your clients through the hard stuff.

I'm grateful they trusted me through every step of this journey. 🏡❤️
