Days on Market are dangerous, and here's why:
Days on Market is the number of days a house sits on the market before a buyer makes an offer.
So why are they dangerous? Buyers can smell stale listings from a mile away, and when a house sits on the market for a long time, it becomes stale, and, statistically, the sale price starts to decline.
Buyers begin to think, what's wrong with it? And they may shy away from looking at your house with all the other inventory of homes for sale on the market.
And surprisingly, the solution is simple!
Price your home properly on Day 1, not Day 15 or Day 30. A home priced right from the start will stay well below the average days on market. Find an expert agent who will use real data and experience to price your home correctly, then listen to them.
Happy to help you find the right price for your home!
