We had a spooktacular time at the Greccio Housing Trunk-or-Treat! 🍬👻

Events like these are about more than just costumes and candy. They’re a special opportunity to bring our Greccio community together and share in the joy of the season. 🍁

A huge THANK YOU to all the Greccio employees and volunteers who made this event possible! From decorating festive trunks and handing out candy to hosting games and contests and serving up delicious hamburgers and hot dogs, your time, creativity, and generosity made the day extra special. Thanks for bringing the Greccio community together! 🧡🎃

We are grateful to Mayor Yemi and the City of Colorado Springs for recognizing Greccio Housing and Sunrise at Shiloh Mesa during the 2026 State of the City Address!

This recognition underscores the growing need for affordable housing in our community and the importance of collaborative solutions. Sunrise at Shiloh Mesa demonstrates what’s possible when organizations come together around a shared vision to expand affordable housing opportunities, as exemplified by our collaboration with The Center for Strategic Ministry and Woodmen Valley Chapel.

Thank you for shining a spotlight on this important work. We are proud to be part of the solution to the topic of city-wide affordability. By expanding access to affordable housing, we’re dedicated to helping ensure Colorado Springs remains a place where individuals and families can afford to live, work, and thrive.

Rayne is a young Greccio resident who has big dreams for her future and a plan to get there!

From a young age, Rayne knew she wanted to make a difference in the world. After volunteering with a local cat organization, she discovered her passion for helping animals and knew she had found her calling. Since then, she has embraced every opportunity to learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience.

Last week, Rayne joined Dr. Lisa Thompson at The Pet Cross Inc mobile vet clinic, providing assistance with Greccio resident appointments however she was needed. As she approaches graduation, she plans to pursue a degree in veterinary technology, taking the next step toward her ultimate goal of becoming a veterinarian.

We’re so proud of Rayne’s passion and dedication, and we’ll be cheering her on every step of the way as she turns her dreams into reality! 🐾

Congratulations to our Q4 Honored Employee, Melissa Wicklund! 🎈🎊

Melissa joined us as a project manager brought on to support our AppFolio transition, and she has fit right in with the Greccio team since day one. She learned the system quickly, then turned around and taught it to others with patience and clarity.

Her support hasn't stopped with AppFolio, though. Whatever the need, Melissa steps in with a smile. She is calm, organized, and professional, and she takes challenges in stride. Many of her contributions happen behind the scenes, and they have made a real difference in how our team works. By supporting her coworkers through change, she helps us keep our focus on serving residents well.

Thank you, Melissa, for your patience, your positive attitude, and your willingness to help anyone, anytime. We are grateful to have you with us.

It's almost time for the autumn harvest at the Greccio Community Gardens! We love seeing the result of all the hard work residents and volunteers have put into maintaining the garden beds. Fresh produce always tastes extra delicious when it's grown from your own effort and dedication. We know our residents are going to enjoy the hard-earned fruits of their labor! 🍽
