Yesterday I had the opportunity to spend some time at Kalamazoo Country Club continuing to sharpen my knowledge of VA lending and the incredible benefits available to our veterans and active-duty service members.

A big thank you to Thomas Stearns with CrossCountry Mortgage for sharing his knowledge and experience on VA loans. There is always more to learn in this business, and I believe the better educated I am, the better I can serve the people who trust me with one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.

This one is especially personal to me. Being the son of a Vietnam Veteran and the grandson of a World War II Veteran, serving veterans and their families is something I am truly passionate about. I have a tremendous amount of respect and gratitude for the men and women who have sacrificed so much for our country.

VA home loans are an incredible benefit that our veterans have earned, and I want to make sure the families I work with understand those benefits and know how to use them to their fullest when buying or refinancing a home.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to keep learning, keep growing, and continue becoming a better resource for the veterans and families I serve.
