Entertaining is easy when your space is built for it! 🎉 An open layout that keeps the cook in the conversation. A kitchen island with room for guests to gather. Flow between the kitchen, dining, and living areas that doesn’t leave anyone stuck in another room.

Whether you’re hosting a holiday crowd or just Sunday dinner with family, a home designed with entertaining in mind changes everything. That’s the kind of detail our team plans for from the very first design conversation, not as an afterthought.

Thinking about a remodel that fits the way you actually live and host? Call us at 865-457-9877 to start the process.

We take great pride in delivering the best remodeling experience possible — starting with the design and carrying that same attention to detail all the way through to the final walkthrough.

Your vision is the starting point. From there, our project manager works closely with you to determine the best way to bring it to life, whatever that looks like for your home. Updating a single kitchen or bathroom, or completely overhauling an older property — we’ve got the experience and expertise across Anderson County to make it happen.

The goal is simple: the home you’ve been picturing, built by a team that’s been doing this since 1968.

Building a home is one of the biggest long-term investments you'll make. Property values across Knoxville and Anderson County have shown steady appreciation, and a well-built home puts you in a strong position to see that return.

But the investment is only as sound as what's behind the walls. That's why quality materials and construction built to last have been part of our philosophy since Thomas R. Hicks founded this company in 1968, a standard Christy and our team still build to today.

A dream kitchen isn’t just about how it looks, it’s about how it works. Countertop space where you actually need it. Storage that makes sense for how your family cooks. Lighting that’s as practical as it is pretty.

At TR Hicks, we design with real life in mind, not just the aesthetic of it. The result is a kitchen that photographs beautifully and still holds up to Sunday dinners, homework at the counter, and everything in between.

Cabinet color is probably the first thing you notice in a kitchen, but it shouldn’t be the only thing you consider when designing yours.

How you use your kitchen should help drive the decision. Do you need more storage? Easier access to everyday items? A specific layout? More room for appliances?

The right cabinets should work for the way your kitchen is actually used, not just look good in a photo.

Lighting is one of those details that can make a big difference in how a kitchen looks and functions. From task lighting over the countertops to fixtures that bring the whole space together, the right plan helps make the kitchen work for everyday life.

At TR Hicks Construction, we think through the details that make a space both beautiful and functional, from the layout and finishes to the lighting, and all the in between.
