🏠 Housing crash? The experts aren’t seeing it. Fannie Mae’s latest survey of more than 100 housing experts projects home prices will continue to rise every year through at least 2030, with an average forecast of 14.7% total growth over the next five years. Even the more pessimistic experts still expect prices to increase by about 6.6%.

That doesn’t mean prices will rise at the same pace everywhere. Local markets can behave differently, and the forecast has moderated compared with some earlier projections. But the bigger picture is pretty clear: experts aren’t forecasting a crash. They’re expecting a slower, more sustainable pace of growth.

If you’ve been waiting for prices to fall, it may be worth taking a closer look at what’s actually happening in your local market. The right move isn’t about timing the national market. It’s about understanding your local numbers and what makes sense for you. 📊
