A little pumpkin carving — good company, messy hands, a rotting pumpkin in the fire, some evil laughter, and a very proud lineup of jack-o’-lanterns. And when everyone is done and cleaned up, Angela and Katy are still working on their designs.

Only in Chico does Halloween get its own name 🎃

Chicoween season kicked off last weekend with the Howl-O-Ween Pup Crawl downtown — costumed pups, packed patios, and money raised for Butte Humane Society. And the main event is still to come: Treat Street takes over downtown today from 2–6 PM, with trick-or-treating, a costume contest, and live music.
