I mean... HOW IS THIS REAL LIFE?! 🤣

My three-year-old went to Goebbert's Farm to race for Halloween candy and somehow ended up with millions of views AND on the NEWS?! I am overwhelmed!!!!!!

If you know Vincenzo, you know this kid does NOTHING halfway. Especially when candy is involved!

But seriously, watching his pure joy and excitement that day was one of those moments that just makes you love being a mom. And now seeing him watch himself on TV?! I can’t handle it! ❤️

Thank you to everyone who has watched, shared, and cheered on our little guy! This has been SO much fun! Thank you to WPLG Local 10 Miami, Local 10 World News Producer Michelle Lacamoire Michelle Lacamoire, and Aaron Maybin Aaron Maybin for the adorable interview and featured segment. Goebbert's Farm candy cannon did not disappoint!!!!! This may be my favorite video of Vincenzo of all time. Definitely in the top 3 — and oh my goodness I love seeing how committed and excited Vin was for the race. LFG BABY! We love your adventurous spirit and zest for life!!!!!!!! 🎃🎃🎃🍬🍬🍬🤩🤩🤩

I've had buyers get really excited when they see a Chicago condo with low monthly assessments. And listen, I get it! Who doesn't want a lower monthly payment? 🙋‍♀️

But here's the thing. I want to know WHY those assessments are low.

Is the building well maintained? Is there money in reserves? Are there big repairs coming up that nobody has budgeted for?

I've seen enough Chicago condos to know that the number on the listing doesn't always tell the whole story.

Whether you're buying in West Loop, West Town, or anywhere else in Chicago, these are the conversations I want us to have before you make one of the biggest purchases of your life.

Because finding a condo you love is one thing. Making sure you understand what you're buying into? That's just as important.

Can we talk about how stressful the idea of selling your home AND buying another one can feel?! Because I get it. 😂

One of the biggest questions I get is, "Rachel, do I really have to sell my house before I can buy another one?"

And the answer is... not necessarily!

“Where am I?”

And as Dorothy says, There’s no place like it!

My home is West Town. It’s running into Walgreens 2 times a day to grab whatever I could possibly need, deciding where to go for dinner because there are SO many good options, popping into the little shops along Chicago Ave., and spending a Saturday afternoon at the farmer’s market.

And now that I’m a mom, I love it for a whole different set of reasons. Taking Vincenzo out to explore, stopping at the park, grabbing a bite to eat as a family, and watching him grow up in a city with SO much to see and do!

I’ve lived in other places, and I can tell you that Chicago really is something special. The neighborhoods, the people, the restaurants, the sense of community. I could go on and on!

Okay, Chicago friends! Where are we getting coffee, grabbing dinner, or taking the kids this weekend? Give me your favorites! 👇

A VA loan in a multiple-offer situation in LINCOLN PARK?! And my buyers WON?! YOU BET THEY DID!!!! 🇺🇸🏡

I cannot tell you how excited I am about this one!!!

There is SO much more to winning a home than simply having the highest offer. Relationships matter. Communication matters. Having the RIGHT people in your corner matters. And knowing how to put together an offer that gives everyone confidence? THAT matters!!!

A HUGE shoutout to my lender friend and his team for being absolute ROCKSTARS throughout this entire process! 👏

And can we PLEASE stop treating VA loans like they're a disadvantage?! Our veterans have earned this benefit, and they deserve every opportunity to compete for the homes they love.
