Take one action to help save the endangered Uptown Theater

TAKE ONE ACTION
TO HELP BRING BACK
THE UPTOWN THEATRE

MORE THAN 8,940 PEOPLE toured the endangered landmark Uptown Theatre in Chicago this past weekend during The Chicago Architecture Center annual Open House Chicago festival. Please help keep this unprecendented momentum going by sending a simple email today to important, local decision makers.

By utilizing this link provided by the building owner, you can show your support for restoring and using the long-dormant Uptown Theatre. What matters most in this effort is getting this one-of-a-kind building renovated and operating again to serve the people of Chicago with jobs, entertainment and cultural events.

Please visit this website, and click on the button that says: Send Email to Support the Uptown Theatre. Then, make sure to add in your words why the Uptown is important to you. Show your support now!

Note: The link will bring up a new email message and populate the email addresses of elected and appointed officials whose support is vital to the future of the Uptown. If you do not have an email app loaded with your email address, it may not work on your phone. This may be something you want to do from a laptop computer.

Water lilies ring our pool in a repeated pattern, but there are two places where the tiles and/or pattern are slightly altered to make the design work. Do you know where the tilers “cheated?” These photos show the pattern.

See comments for the answers.
