has been serving Sharp, Fulton and Izard counties for more than five decades, establishing itself as one of the most recognized, respected and trusted names in real estate in north central Arkansas. Founded by Kenneth King in 1963, the real estate firm grew with the exploding development in the area, especially the planned community of Cherokee Village, nestled around seven beautiful lakes in a quiet pastoral setting. In 1981, Ron Rhodes joined the firm as partner helping usher in a new era of growth and expansion. Rhodes, formerly with Cooper Communities, Inc., the legendary Arkansas development company that established Cherokee Village in 1954, brought to the firm a keen knowledge of the Village’s real estate market as well as a strong track record for residential sales and client service. During the 1990’s, King-Rhodes expanded its portfolio with the addition of long-term rental and property management as well as nightly vacation rentals including single-family homes and Los Indios Timeshares. In 2002, Rhodes became sole owner of the firm, leading it through a significant period of growth during the first decade of the new century.
