COMMUNITY STARTS WITH SHOWING UP.

Chattanooga is a city we're proud to call home. It's where we live, work, build relationships and help others put down roots.

But being part of a community also means recognizing the challenges our neighbors face.

For individuals and families experiencing homelessness, the need for stability, resources and support is real. And we believe local businesses have an opportunity to be part of the solution.

At BHGRE Signature Brokers, we're beginning a new community initiative focused on supporting efforts that serve people experiencing homelessness throughout Chattanooga.

Our first step is listening, learning and understanding how we can make a meaningful difference.

That's why we're sharing an invitation from the CHATT Foundation, an organization doing important work in our community.

The CHATT Foundation is inviting our community to read a book together as an opportunity to deepen our understanding of homelessness in Chattanooga. On October 29, the conversation will continue with a panel discussion alongside students at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Community members are welcome to participate.

We believe meaningful change begins with awareness, grows through conversation and becomes possible when people come together to take action.

Our hope is to turn what we learn into ongoing opportunities for our office to serve, support and contribute.

Because a stronger Chattanooga is one where more of our neighbors have the opportunity to feel safe, supported and at home.

We look forward to sharing more as this initiative takes shape.

Today’s the day! 💙💙

Tomorrow, one of Chattanooga’s most beloved landmarks opens again.

The Walnut Street Bridge has always been more than a way to get from one side of the river to the other.

It connects downtown to the North Shore.
It connects neighborhoods, businesses and some of the places we love most.
And for so many of us, it holds years of Chattanooga memories.

Morning walks. First dates. Family afternoons. Festivals. River views. Visitors seeing our city for the first time.

Tomorrow, we get it back.

After an extensive renovation, the Walnut Street Bridge reopens October 3—and we can’t wait to see Chattanooga walking across it again.

Because the places that connect us are part of what makes a city feel like home.

Welcome back, Walnut Street Bridge. We’ve missed you.
