Chatham’s Oktoberfest is happening Saturday, October 17 at Kate Gould Park and the Town Hall parking lot.

It’s a fun fall day downtown with entertainment, food, local vendors and family activities — and while you’re there, take a walk through the Pumpkin People displays in Kate Gould Park.

🦪 Oyster lovers — this is your weekend!
The Wellfleet OysterFest returns October 17 & 18 in downtown Wellfleet.

Two days celebrating everything that makes Wellfleet special — local oysters and seafood, live music, arts & crafts, local food, b**r and w**e gardens and the famous Oyster Shuck-Off competition.

📅 October 17 & 18 | 10 AM–5 PM
📍 Downtown Wellfleet

This is always one of the biggest fall weekends on the Outer Cape, so plan ahead!



Tickets are $35, children 12 and under are free but still need a ticket, and attendance is capped, so I’d mention getting tickets ahead of time.

The Sandwich Glass Museum’s annual PumpkinFest is happening October 10 & 11.

The museum lawn will be filled with beautiful handblown glass pumpkins and fall and Halloween-inspired pieces created by local and regional glass artists.

🌊 One of Cape Cod’s classic fall weekends is almost here!

The Yarmouth Seaside Festival is happening October 10–12 with three days of fall fun.

🎨 Arts & crafts
🎶 Live music
🔥 Beach bonfire
🎆 Fireworks
🏃 5K road race
🛶 Canoe & kayak race
🏖️ Sand sculpture contest

Plus food, rides, games and plenty for the kids.
The main festival runs Saturday and Sunday, with special events happening throughout the weekend.

SandwichFest returns Saturday, October 3 in historic Sandwich Village.

Spend the day strolling through town, checking out local artisans and crafts, grabbing something to eat and enjoying live music and family activities.

There will be more than 50 arts & crafts booths, food trucks, live entertainment and a Biergarten. It’s free and family-friendly — a great way to kick off October on the Cape.
