Charlotte buyers have more options, but what do the numbers actually mean? Here’s a look at September 2026 data for Charlotte city, available heading into late October:

🏘️ More selection: There were 3,827 homes for sale, up 15.5% from last year. That means more opportunities to compare layouts, locations, and features.

💰 Prices stayed relatively steady: The median sale price reached $420,000, a 0.5% increase.

⏳ Homes took longer to sell: Average market time was 49 days, compared with 46 days last year.

🔑 Fewer sales closed: 875 homes sold, down 16.2% year over year.
