Mortgage rates are back above 7%. According to Freddie Mac’s Primary Mortgage Market Survey, the average 30-year fixed mortgage rate reached 7.03% on September 24, compared with 6.30% a year ago. [freddiemac.com]

Meanwhile, we’re moving into the seasonally slower part of the real estate year.
