Lots of exciting things have been happening at North Ridge. On the outside you can see sidewalk and concrete formation, preparation for parking lot paving, installation of outside lighting, and topsoil going into place. The inside is coming alive with paint colors throughout the building. The apartments are receiving door, cabinet, countertop, water heater, and furnace installations.
Interested in having North Ridge as your next home? Apply today! More information and applications can be found at www.luminest.org or call our office at 717-977-3900.

A HUGE shout-out to Chambers’ Apothecary, also known as Waynesboro Apothecary and Saint Thomas Apothecary!

Thank you for coming on-site to provide vaccine clinics at Citrus Grove, Parkview Corner, and our Waynesboro properties. 💉❤️ Being able to offer this wonderful service right here on our properties helped our residents stay protected without the added stress of having to travel elsewhere.

We truly appreciate your time, care, and commitment to our residents. Thank you for helping us keep our communities healthy and safe! We look forward to having you back again!

The Meadow View townhomes grounds are sporting 18 new trees planted by Trees by Corey volunteers and Luminest staff. Thanks to everyone who helped to add beauty and shade to our family property in Gettysburg. Meadow View is located beside our newest property, North Ridge, which will be opening the end of 2026 with 1 and 2 bedroom apartments for seniors 62 and older.

Our Citrus Grove residents will be warm and toasty this winter with the donation of handmade blankets that they received from Newville Church of the Brethren. Everyone was able to select their own blanket and it put a smile on all their faces. Parkview Corner residents also received a homemade blanket donation. Thank you to all who had a hand in making these beautiful blankets.

Summer block parties were held in August for our Chambersburg and Waynesboro properties. Staff and residents came out in full force showing their community spirit. Pap's Dog Stop provided hot dogs at both parties. Chambersburg enjoyed a traditional petting zoo, face painting, and some cooling off with a treat from Chillz On Wheelz. Waynesboro threw traditional out the window by hosting an exotic petting zoo, WIN was able to attend with valuable information and handouts, and Target donated some school supplies! Dietrick's Ice Cream was a delicious treat on a hot Summer night. Good time was had by all. A big thank you to all of the vendors who made these evenings special.

For this Whole Home Repair project, our general contractor, Zeiset, removed a large oak tree at the front of the property, dug up & replaced the existing sewer line, driveway & sidewalk which were all impacted by the oak tree roots, installed 2 windows in the front of the home and completed some exterior painting.

In the dog days of summer, our construction crews are plowing ahead with exterior and interior work on North Ridge. What do we most need during these hot days? Air conditioning! Check out those HVAC units on the roof. Beautiful siding and stonework goin up outside. Insulation, drywalling, and more happening inside.
North Ridge is a senior 62+ development located just north of downtown Gettysburg. Interested in applying? Check out our website at www.luminest.org for more information and the application. Building completion expected by the end of 2026.

We had a wonderful evening last week at Parkview Corner celebrating America's 250th Anniversary. We ate, socialized and even did a little dancing. It was a fun time had by all. And of course we had to have hot dogs at an all American summer gathering. Thanks to for this delicious picnic staple.
