A little Food for Thought turned into a lot of ideas! 💡

Our Anderson Bogert team recently explored how AI can help with everyday engineering and surveying work, from finding project information and aerial imagery to organizing field observations and supporting proposal preparation.

Meyer Bohn led the session and shared the workflows and tools he’s been developing for our team. The best part? Hearing everyone’s ideas for what we could make easier next.

We’re starting with practical projects, testing what works, and keeping our people’s expertise at the center of it all.

This milestone marks an big moment for the community and reflects the hard work, collaboration, and dedication of everyone who helped bring this project to life.

Important work below ground helps protect the people above it.

Anderson Bogert is proud to support Cedar Rapids’ Lead Service Line Replacement project through field investigations and replacement design.

The goal is reducing lead exposure. Lead service lines can release lead into drinking water, and galvanized iron pipes can retain lead from upstream lead piping—even after that original source is removed.

For eligible properties within the funded project, the City plans to cover private-side replacement costs. Some special restoration costs may apply.

We’re proud to help bring this investment in public health and neighborhood infrastructure to life.

Last week, several of our team members joined Terracon for its Field Day at the Cedar Rapids office, where they had the opportunity to experience firsthand demonstrations showcasing the wide range of services Terracon provides. The interactive event offered a behind-the-scenes look at the expertise, technology, and field practices that help drive successful projects and lasting partnerships across the industry.
The afternoon also provided valuable opportunities to connect with industry peers, exchange ideas, and strengthen relationships within the AEC community. It was a great reminder of the collaboration and shared knowledge that help shape successful outcomes for our clients and communities.

🏓 What a fun day! 🏓

Yesterday, two of our Anderson Bogert employees, Lacy Michael and Clint Van Winkle, had the opportunity to participate in the Ryan Companies US, Inc. Pickleball Tournament at Pickle Palace!

We’re so glad we could be part of such a fun event while supporting a great cause. The tournament was hosted as part of Ryan Companies’ Gives Back Campaign, benefiting Spotlight Charity DVIP/RVAP’s Domestic Violence/Rapid Victims Advocacy Program and Cooper’s House.

We had a great time, and we’re grateful to be part of an event that brings people together while giving back to our community!
