Many of you know that I’ve been in the brokerage business for more than 20 years. That’s still the core of what we do every day at JR Associates.
What a lot of people may not know is that I was also the builder of 185 E Street.
That makes this project especially meaningful to me because my involvement started long before the first wall went up. I originally sold the land to the development team, worked through the entitlement process alongside them, stayed involved through zoning and permitting, then ultimately built the project from the ground up, brought the residences to market, and helped get the building under agreement.
It’s been a long road, and anyone who has built in Boston knows how nuanced and demanding that process can be.
So to walk through the finished residences today — or even just pass the building on E Street — and see the completed product is incredibly humbling.
We’re very proud of what we created here, and even more proud to have played such a major role in taking 185 E Street from a piece of land to a finished building and ultimately to the market.
The Builder. The Broker.
