Advantage Land Co. By adding online auctions to our services, we expanded and raised the bar on convenience and connectivity in the South Dakota and Minnesota land sectors.

Our family-oriented team has a core passion for personal, professional service - focusing on developing relationships while striving to stay on top of new technologies in advertising and selling services. Our team shares a combined total of over 95 years of real estate experience, over 100 years of banking and finance expertise, and over 115 years of farm and ranch operations. The family business dates back to 1955, when H.E. Hegerfeld was first licensed. Our team has grown since 1955, serving hundreds of families and selling over $100 Million of cropland, ranches, and hunting properties in recent years. Our passion for land management and brokerage emerges from 3 generations of a rich family heritage in cattle, crops, banking, and real estate. Team family members include: Jackson Hegerfeld, Broker & Auctioneer; Megan Hammond, Broker & Auctioneer; Charles Hegerfeld, Broker Associate; and Laura Hegerfeld, Broker Associate.

💙A Grandpa is a person who loves and is loved unconditionally. The one with the sweetest smile and the biggest heart. Kind, loving, giving and the one person you can always turn to no matter what! 💙

With a heavy heart and a thankful spirit, we want to send our prayers to the family and loved ones of Grandpa Jack Hegerfeld, who passed away this week. Grandpa Jack was an innovator and helped our family start this company! He will be missed by so many but his legacy will continue to be a bright spot in our lives!
