Enjoy a cup of coffee and listen to the loons and a glass of wine while watching the sunset over Mt. We want this to be a fun page for family, friends and renters to enjoy. We will post updates of the events going on at the Lake & hope that you will participate. If you are looking for a rental property talk to us. Below is a brief description of the cottage & location. The Hewitt Cottage is a seasonal cottage featuring a 100 feet of private waterfront on beautiful Newfound Lake. Over looking scenic Mt. Cardigan and located in Bridgewater NH, the cottage is the perfect get away for a quiet family vacation. The cottage features a private stone pier located in front of the cottage with a shallow sandy swim area is the perfect place to relax and watch the kids swim. Additionally, there is a mooring for your boat. There is a public boat launch at Wellington State Park across the lake and a local marina with boats for rent. Local area attractions and activities include: Mt. Cardigan for hiking, Polar Caves, Sculptured Rocks, paddle board yoga, Eco Tours at the Audubon Center, and dining at area restaurants. We are ready to reserve weeks for the 2027 Summer Season. The Hewitt Cottage on Newfound Lake has the following weeks available for the 2027 summer season: June 5-12, June 12-19, June 19-26, August 28-September 4, September 4-11, September 11-18, September 18-25. Our Family Cottage sleeps 8. No pets or smoking. We provide a boat mooring and a private sandy beach steps from our spacious porch. Fall weekends also available.
