Hello my peoples, it's me Ozzy McCormick the Chameleon! If you haven't met me yet here at the clinic, you're missing out as I'm very handsome and quite the ladies man!
Halloween is upon us and I need to make sure you keep your pets safe. Listed below are some safety tips from me and my Sleeping Giant staff. Have a safe and fun weekend my peoples!
🎃 Keep ALL candy and wrappers away from pets. Chocolate in all forms, especially dark or baking chocolate, can be very dangerous for cats and dogs, and sugar-free candies containing the sugar substitute xylitol can cause serious problems in pets.
🎃 Keep pets away from jack-o-lanters. Lit pumpkins are a fire hazard if tipped over.
🎃 High traffic and people in costumes may upset your pet. Keep them in a quiet room or on a leash.
🎃 Spooked pets can get lost. Make sure that they have tags and are microchipped.
🎃 Costumes are fun, but don't force it if your pet resists. Ensure costumes are comfortable with no small pieces that can be bitten off or choked on.
