It was great to welcome Connecticut housing and government leaders to The Ellis Block in New Britain for a tour and conversation about housing in the state.

State Representative Arnold Jensen, Aaron Turner with the Connecticut Department of Housing, and Taijah Anderson with the Governor’s Office joined us to see the community firsthand and talk about housing affordability and today’s housing challenges.

Some exciting news for The Ellis Block! 🎉

The New Britain, Connecticut, community has received an Affordable Merit Award in the 2026 Multifamily Executive Awards! The historic adaptive reuse transformed a long-vacant factory complex into 154 affordable and workforce apartments while preserving an important piece of the city’s industrial history.

There was a lot to celebrate at Codman Square Neighborhood Development Corporation’s 45th Anniversary Gala, including a special recognition for WinnResidential’s Domenic Butler.

As CSNDC celebrated 45 years of community development in Dorchester, Domenic received the Philanthropic Partner Award. The honor comes at a particularly meaningful time as Domenic recently retired from his role as Divisional Vice President at WinnResidential.

We were proud to join Connected Communities Foundation and the Boston CDC Consortium in receiving an Outstanding Partnership Award at Massachusetts Association of CDCs (MACDC)'s 2026 Community Development Summit!

The award recognizes our collaboration on the Coordinated Eviction Prevention program, which combines debt forgiveness, partial tenant repayment, and financial education to help residents build long-term housing stability. To date, 113 residents have completed the program, with more than 75% remaining current on rent following completion.
