Team Brusil Saving you time, money, + providing peace of mind when buying, selling, or investing in real estate. I look at what I do as a partnership with shared goals. ".

Many people live and die by the saying that real estate is a numbers game; while numbers play a large part, it is my opinion, that real estate is more of a relationship business. Successful real estate transactions thrive on trust - where sellers, buyers, and their agents work toward a common goal. There is nothing more important in my work than bringing people to the right next step. My work is never about just closing a deal; it is about helping people improve their lives. The industry has changed greatly since I entered in 2008. A consumer doesn't need an agent to tell them where the nearest train station, elementary school, newest coffee shop, or local farmers market is. I know you can find that information at your finger tips with the technology we all currently carry. Heck, you don't even need me to necessarily find you the property you are interested in or tell you when the open house is - many of my clients find that on their own. You certainly don't need me to walk you through a home and say "And here is the kitchen . . . . . While I love touring property and helping my clients find the right home I know they don't NEED me for that. However, my clients value me for my expertise in the process and negotiating skills. Sometimes, in the current market, those negotiating skills are knowing that you may have to bid over asking price. I specialize in helping people buy, sell, or invest in real estate in the Greater Boston area. But what I really do is save you time, money, reduce stress, manage the process, and have YOUR back at all times. If you are in need of a real estate agent that will devote 110% effort to your needs be it for residential sales, investment sales, or apartment hunting please do not hesitate to contact me.

The Clifton Lutheran Church in Marblehead with 600 pumpkins and was wondering if anyone would buy them.

Ten years later and they are bringing in about 5,000 pumpkins this year.

That’s about half the story.

Over the years, the church has sent roughly $180,000 back to the New Mexico reservation where the pumpkins are grown. After this year’s sales, they expect the number to be over $200,000.

Apparently this is the top-selling church pumpkin operation in Massachusetts, which is a title I did not know existed but glad it holds weight.

Boston was just ranked the #7 global city in the world by Oxford Economics.

They ranked 1,000 cities. Boston finished seventh.

Not exactly shocking.

We know why people want to be here. Jobs. Universities. Hospitals. Life sciences. Finance. Culture. Boston has a lot going for it.

Good for Boston.

Oxford also factors housing costs into its Quality of Life score. So Boston did not rank seventh because it’s affordable. It ranked seventh despite what it costs to live here.

A lot of people want to live here. We have not built enough housing for all of them.

She had a great review of Quincy, but that was a swing and a miss from Lynn’s perspective.

Someone kept these.

The old photographs. The names and dates written on the back. Little pieces of this home’s history, passed down to the current owners.

The story is beyond the house.

On a 1924 map, you can see J. Canessa’s name on the land. In 1931, Joseph Canessa subdivided the property, with parcels going to John Canessa and Henry and Kathryn Canessa.

Before it was a street, the was just the family name on a deed and on the maps.

Today, there’s plenty here that a map or an old photograph can’t tell you. The feel of the wood grain. The brass latches. The way the light beams through the windows.

Those parts you have to see for yourself.

20 Canessa Terrace, Lynn.
