The Annual Safety Training Day brought the maintenance team together for a full day dedicated to safety, situational awareness, and practical strategies for property operations.

The comprehensive training covered essential procedures, including emergency response, mold and asbestos awareness, biohazard safety, slip/trip/fall prevention, and animal-bite safety. The session reinforced the team's vital role as the eyes and ears of the properties while equipping them to manage incident responses safely.

To celebrate everyone's active participation and engagement throughout the day, the training concluded with a series of raffle drawings. Congratulations to all of the raffle winners!

Mayor Michelle Wu described Mitzi best: "With a heart that embodies resilience, Mitzi's advocacy has garnered recognition from the Boston City Council, applauding her exceptional leadership and impactful service."

Through guided reflection, discussion, and hands-on activities, Mitzi created a supportive space to reclaim control, foster resilience, and promote empowerment for some of our residents. We thank her endlessly!
